A major entertainment venue in the homes of the 1930’s-1950’s was the radio. Before television, families would sit around after dinner and listen to their favorite radio programs in the comfort of their living rooms. The production of portable radios made it possible for individuals to listen to programs and music in the kitchen, bedroom or office. Drop by DiSH and take a look at our collection of portable radios which are for sale at reasonable prices. All but two have been refurbished and work well. The manufacturers include: RCA Victor, Motorola, Westinghouse, Belmont (see image below), Air Chief, Silvertone, Crosley, General Electric and Packard Bell. See Radios At Dish under Pages on the right for other examples of radios available . For more information on our radios e-mail info@dishtheshop.com
