Lee has been invited to make a presentation at the May 6, 2008 Gypsy Traders meeting which will be held at DiSH.  He will share with the group the design history of toasters, waffle irons and coffee pots produced in the U.S. from 1920-60.

DiSH will be display a special collection “Art from the African Diaspora” on Saturday, February 9, 2008 from 6-8:30 p.m.   The display is from the collection of Felicienne and Melvin Ramey of Davis, California.  Both are retired professors, Felicienne from CSU Sacramento and Melvin from UC Davis.   Hope to see you there!

DISH is planning a Private Cocktail Party on Valentines Day, February 14, 2008  – You’re invited!  Drinks from the 40’s and 50’s will be fiatured, especially Martini’s and Manhattans.
